Scalar i7 RAPTOR Downloads

Always refer to your Backup Application Vendor’s recommendation for Library and Tape Drive Device drivers before downloading and applying drivers that are posted here for your convenience. The following device drivers are made available in case your application does not provide or recommend SCSI Medium Changer (SMC) embedded device drivers or SCSI Streaming Command (SSC) device drivers (Tape Drives). 

Library Device Drivers: 

The Scalar i7 RAPTOR tape library does not provide native device driver support.  All tape drive and tape library device drivers are either native Windows or Linux device drivers, provided by your backup application vendor or by IBM for specific tape drive and tape library failover path configurations.

Linux Library Drivers:

The Drivers are native Operating System drivers and are automatically provided in the OS.

Windows Library Drivers: 

The Windows Tape Library Driver is a native Operating System driver and is automatically provided in the OS.

The current library firmware version is listed below. Select the link(s) of the library or drive firmware you want to download below. Only customers with active Warranty or Service Maintenance contracts may access the content.

Current Library and Certified Tape Drive Firmware Versions

You will be prompted to enter a valid System serial number to access this content.

FIPS Drive Firmware - Only load FIPS firmware image if you are enabling FIPS for a partition on the library. If you are not using FIPS do not load this firmware image on any of the drives in the library
